From American White Oak
Our barrels are an integral part of the maturation of our whiskey.
All of our barrels are made of white oak and imported from the United States. We only use NEW white oak barrels. Our whiskey is bourbon-style, so much so that the Peruvian government has recognized “Andean Whiskey” as a new type of whiskey very similar to US Bourbon. The new regulation means that Andean Whiskey now has global recognition.

In 2024, Black Whiskey was ranked within the top 10 of the world’s best whiskeys, achieving the #9 spot in the renowned World’s Top 50 Whiskeys.
